when you put a set on a corsa b......
1. do they rub the archs, and what drop is advised e.g. 40mm
2. do they slow your car down with them being a bigger rolling diametre
3. do they not handle as well as say a set of 15"
cheers peeps

used to have 17's lowered 60mm, had to do loads of arch work to stop them rubbing, slow down, yes definately, also used loads more fuel, handling defo decreased from the 16's i had before, gone bk to 16's now and dont look back.

i am down 60mm on 17's have done absolultely no arch work and i get no rubbing with 3 peepz in the car havent tried anymore yet. I think this is mainly due to the fact my suspension doesnt move its rock hard bit of a harsh ride but i love it makes it feel faster altho i know it isnt. Dunno bout speed changes ive had the 17's for so long i dout there will be much difference in handling.

I had this problem, so removed the arch bolts and stuck em on, then invested in falken tyres, which have a sloping profile, and give a few extra mm clearance, can now carry passengers.

then stick to 15's, lighter, less effort required to turn the wheel, better handling
