This is utter bullshit. They are enforcing a ban on the use of mobile phones, but not if they are in a cradle/hands free kit?!? Its the talking over the phone which is distractive when i used to do it, not the actual holding of the phone. Its another police scam to try and get money from the english motorists. Did you know it is ok to press buttons on your phone too, as long as it is in a dashboard cradle!!

same as a speeding ticket i guess.
SO its all time to get ya hands free kits out and stop texting while driving
only certain types ofhands free will be legal. anyway should not be using the phone when your driving.

Thing is though, is talking on a hands free anymore destracting than talking to a passenger? They can't ban that or could they? Radio's should be banned then too.
