i have a set of 15" KAHN RSR's and i am wanting to lower my corsa b, however, the offset is et 35
...how much do you think i can lower my car by before it will start to catch on my arches

how wide are they? around 30mm you should be ok.

yer 30mm shud be ok but ya not gonna be able to go low on et35

my tyres 195/45/15 the front left catchs the inside of the splash panel and is scuffing my tyre off, will lowering my car will this stop or get worse?
...can you take the splash panels out?

et42 is the limit for no rubbing on 15's
but you can run upto -40mm on et35 as long as you have 195/45 profile tyres, plus you'll need to remove the top rear arch bolts and maybe give the inner arch a couple of thumps with a rubber mallet. it all depends on your car as arch clearance varies
then again if you want to cut the arch then u can go as low as you want

there shouldnt be any rubbing on the front, are you sure it aint catching the mud flaps on full lock
if you remove the splash guards then you will need to coat the arches in rust protector otherwise they rust like fook

removing the arch bolts is always a good idea cos u wil eventually catch them on bumpy rd's

if you remove the top 2 from each then the other 4 remainin ones will hold the arch fine & wont catch either

i got et37 17's lowered 60mm n it dont catch that much, a bit aat the front but thats it. have had arches hammered out with rubber mallet quite alot, am gonna get them cut out when i can afford it tho - so i can take passengers again
