when i first started at my job, i remember some guy wanting to talk to the boss, so i ask whos calling, and he went off on one. huffing and puffing saying just put me through it doesnt matter who i am. so my boss picked up really pissed off and had a go at him

It annoys me when you say 'Can i take your name please' and they say 'yes' then dont say anything else.

My mate used to do one, he had a number of random compliments but used to say 'what's sexy and hangs up' and when you asked what just say 'this' and it'd go dead. Funny.

when i answer the phone at work if someone says something like that i put the phone down. they dont make the same mistake twice
