leave the original on there
image - adjustments etc, theres quite a few ways really

select the bumper layer first of course, or go round it with lasso tool

when i did this it just goes a funky blue colour nothing like how i want it!

change the hue, this is how u change the colour, or if its too bright lower the saturation and slightly lower the lightness
