but i dont know anythin bout puttin an engine in and i've had an accident in another motor so me insurance is gonna go up enough is it still a good idea mate?

If you bored out a 1.2, you would prob only be able to increase by 100cc at most wouldn't you?

but how strong will the engine block be afterwards?? not as strong as it use to be so more potential for damage!

i reckon you should be able to take the 1.2 out to a 1.6. You'd then obviously need to sort the head and fueling out.

If you can rebuild an engine surely you can swap it?

dunno about 1.6 actually, the stroke is probably different.
