how do i get aroround this...I have the contents of 2 cds in different directorys on my pc
when i install cd1 it asks for cd2 with no browse option ... is there an ez way to get arounf this or do i have to burn them?

rename the folders
sooooo (this is purely an example)
run C:\CDS\DISC1\SETUP.EXE
once it asks for disc 2...
rename C:\CDS\DISC1 as DISC1a
rename C:\CDS\DISC2 as DISC1
then click continue
should hopefully work

aye windows is ghey in that respect @ locking files & drives when in use...
would say try make a 3rd directory, copy CD2 into the 3rd dir, and then copy CD1 into the 3rd dir aswell see if that helps, but I doubt it will

only other way I can think of is setting up a temporary network share on your own computer & then mapping the drive for CD1, then when it asks for CD2, unmount the network drive & mount the one for CD2 & continue.
You can unmount network drives whether or not files are open, so if all else fails give that ago
