i paid 165 quid for a set of toyo proxes 194/45/16
to be honest i wont buy them again because the grip in the wet is diabolical. i recommend bf goodridge all the way.
350-400 is the standard price for rims mate of that quality.
for tyres look:

get some huge stoppers and caliper and lob some matis ones on... not to good on a corsa with puny brakes tho.

i was gonna get the matrix's, but i was told that at 7.5 x 17 as opposed to the more usual 7 x 17, they are a lot harder to fit without serious arch work. And i agree with kenny - far too many combat kitted corsas around. I know its hard to be original now, but combat kits are probably the most common!

If your gonna get a combat kit then you will need 17s for them not to look small and stupid, ive seen the new ikon plus and they look like a very nice rim
