well with the sacrifice of having stiffer and slightly uncomfortable ride!
i know it will look better and can take turns and corners faster!
considering im lowered 40mm on a good full suspensiona kit all around- how much faster, i can take a long bend in my Gsi standard suspension and standard alloys at about 50-60mph without skidding or loosing traction, and sharper turns at about 40mph???
since the car is lower will this increase downforce hence top speed higher??
wat if i got a set of 17"s put on then wat??

there only 17's they are common on corsas
They will reduce acceleration and car will look too 'tractorish' as it'll be sitting higher up.

Doesnt look like a tractor, more like a bus.... tha back sits nicely, but the front is a bit high but that will change with the weight of a bigger engine in there.

If they sit outside the arches then they would be illegal, mine have passed their MOT, they deffo sit inside the arches, rub slightly on the off side rear with 2 people in the back and also full lock clockwise the near side front. but are fine usually

dont mean they sit outside the arch they sit too prominant to the edge of the arch!!
especially on early models the front bumper if u look from the front u can see the wheels comin past the side of it just looks stupid unless u have deep skirts/ extended arches/ or very very low IMO, either that or a very sexy wheel!!!

if they rub on full lock shouldn't it fail the mot?

lowering your car will make it a bit of a bumpier ride, the lower u go the bumpier it feels, having said that its looks the bollocks when ya arch is sitting on ya tyres(dont foget to arch mod ya car or u get scrubbing) i lowered my car 50mm and it was like driving a pogo stick, looked alright though
