If i understand correctly you are trying to put -60 mm springs on -35mm shocks(dampers), i wouldnt recomment this as the shocks will bottom out and you will fcuk them very quickly. if i got the wrong end of the stick then ignore me.

i may be wrong but i think i will find when u fit the srings and come to drop the car off the jack the shockers wont allow the car to go the full 60mm

i think you need extra shortened dampers for a 60mm drop, well i've seen the option on suspension kits...

anyone have anymore opinions on this. i was under the impression i could use any uprated dampers. is what M4tt said true. Does it mean that cos the springs used are -35mm, that i can't use them for my -60mm springs

the spax dampers will have shortened shox for sure matey, if they didnt it wouldnt be worth buying new shox for -35mm drop cos normal dampers can handle up to 40mm

if youve been running 60mm drop on standard shox of course you will be to drop it the same on the spax. Whats with all the confusion? You can have what ever springs you want. The shox are built to take any spring that is why you can have uprated springs on standard shox. Ive been running p i springs on spax shox.
