I have a alpine head unit, and at the mo i ahve the original corsa b front speakers.
I ahve recently had delivered sum infinty 655cs front components and i want to get the best out of them. what do i need to do.
Tomas always suggests sound deadening and i think this is agood idea but i need more info on it.also is it best to amp them or run them off the HU?
and i need to get the astramax van adapter for the speakers dont i??
any help will be greatly appreciated.

defo amp them, if u want good sound quality, go for a genesis p2 amp, or a dls amp.

is the amp is was looking at but my speakers are
Infinity Reference 655cs
85 Watt RMS/255 Watt Peak, 2 Way System, 6.5" IM PP Mid, 1" Silk Dome Tweeter, Outboard Passive Crossover.
so is it the RMS i want to try and match?

yes always match the impedance and RMS to your speakers.

think u should try and get something over 75RMS. for the speakers.
i got the same speakers, and running them at 75rms, but at very low gains.
i need to sound deaden my car during xmas, before i up the gain.

cheers. inta. xhale, has found me a amp (PG) which is above 75RMS as he said basically what you said, amps about 250.
How are you finding your speakers. are they any good?

yup they are alrite, might have to take a while to fit them in, everytime i wind my windows it won't fully go down due to the big magnet..
I probably got the same amp as urs.
