Pipex are supposed to be good, thats why I went with them......
Signed up on friday lunchtime like I said, they did the tests that afternoon and emailed me to day everything was ok......
Got an email yesterday afternoon, saying that my modem had been dispatched and that my line should be upgraded in 5-7 days....
Now thats what I call fast...... OH and spoke to them about upgradeing to 1mb if 512kb istnt fast enought and they told be it would take 2weeks at the most if I decided to do it, as they dont tell BT to take you off the exchange then have to reapply like they used to....... they just ask BT for an upgrade which takes 7days in most cases, but they say upto 2weeks in case of any problems....

Most likely 512kb will be fast enough for me anyways

yer 512k is getting abit slow now, i need more, damm uni halls
next year me and some mates are getting 2mb line in are house
