I sat in a 106 gti last weekend and TBH there aint that much to shout about inside the car, the seats are nice but the dash is really bland just like the corsas.

Not true Marc, the 106 Rallye has 103bhp @6200rpm, the Saxo vtr has 90/98bhp @ 5800rpm.

Right enough about the Saxo Vts/106Gti though

The 1.3 S1 Rallye came in white/red/black, the S2 came in white/blue only in the UK.

Yellow/black is available on the continent as is a 16v version.

Around 500 S2's in the UK and over 1000 S1's were imported.

If anyone's lookin for one try http://www.106rallye.co.uk/6/ubb.x?a=frm&s=3116043451&f=9416022851

yes there is nothing to shout abou the interior of a 106 gti or rallye, but thats the whole point, they did away with most of the home comforts to save weight etc.

GTi is faster and a bit more refined than a rallye however the rallye is rarer
