,honest m8 i checked today theres a 2 wire plug under the seat for a +12volt feed and earth/negative as long as it's fused with the correct size fuse (5 amp?) it should be safe.
the heaters are self regulating just make sure the wires don't rub against any sharp edges and break the live feed with a switch.
