do i need to change where the engine mounts are and what do i have to change i .e vin number engine num tell the dvla etc can u let me know thanks

the drivers mount will be very different to your 1.2. u will have to cut the chassis leg about

your 1.2 8v mounts bolt straight on to the 1.6 if you remove any power steering equip.inform dvla of new engine number and capacity

if his 8v didnt have power steering the chassis leg will need modding heavily
