you only use 2 of the three sockets on the harnice as the other one is for the mfd, hope that makes sence

If ur sony has a loom hanging off it you dont need an adapter, if you aint got a loom hanging off you need an extension loom from halfords, you may need to swap over the two positive feeds to keep the radio memory.
