can anybody give me a step by step guide on how to put these in, with a switch can anyone help! i looked at the one in the tutorials bit but it doesn't explain how to wire the neons up to a switch!! please help us cheers in advance

i wired mine through the interior light, the neons go on when u pull the switch. works fine, just u dont have an interior light, shame!

just put a switch inline with the main power going to it, simple realy

yeah simple to u guys i dont know a thing about this stuff so i would need detail!!! i picked up 2 lights for a fiver so i need to put em in!!!

mate it really is quite easy, u could put the switch in one of those square panels, on my car i have one spare the other is for the rear fog light, thats what i should have done.

i have a tiny switch i keep hidden away, so i can turn it off when the rozzers come looking its down by my left knee when driving easy to get to and the cops might not find it he he

what neons you got do them plug into the fag lighter with a switch on the plug bit, whats on the end of the wires, have you got a switch??

i got just 2 neons no switch yet but the neons only have a + and a -! thats all i know!

right the + needs a live wire, you can use all differet ones, i would go for cigarette lighter live, then you need an earth use the one for the lighter too, wire your neons together + to + and - to - then run a wire from where they are joined to either the + or - all you do with the switch it cut the wire going to either + or - amd put the switch between the cut so when you turn the switch on it makes the circuit, mind you the cigarette lighter is only on if ignition is so you might want a permanant live

i wired mine up to the side lights, they come on when the lights are on and also have their own switch box. it is truly easy, i didnt know what wire did what but still figured out what each wire was for.

My neons outside, i just simply wired to postivive and negative terminals of battery, then the swtich wire to battery, and hey presto! but only problem is: not very briight hmmm

i just wired them to the cigerett ligther, works a treat, i have mounted the switch by the hand brake set into the plasic trim

do i have to have an earth? ive only got 2 wires coming off each neon!

yep one is positive to put to a live wire the other is your earth wire to go to the cars earth, what ever you hook it up to there will be a live and earth there, usually black is the live brown is the earth
