XEL or XEV whatever its called has less power at 100bhp, but has a higher torque figure than the X16XE at a lower RPM. People have already started tuning these engines, and as for the inlet manifold, pffff, if your going to tune it it wont matter anyway. Nothing an aftermarket inlet manifold or throttle bodies wont sort out.

Just as good as the X16XE engien once you start tinkering.

the 1.8 sxi is grp 8 so id imagine the 1.8 sri and sport will be around that aswell

2.2 16v engine is 145bhp or something like that. Hired a Vectra C auto with that engine once, quite rapid when you put your foot down!
