Jus been lookin on courtenay sport, found that they sell a turbo manifold for the 1.4 16v so u can add a turbo. I no its not as straight forward of that , anyone turbo'd their own car? or any one know of the details of doing so, and list of required parts??!

its not really worth it for the money. Much more cost effective and reliable to bung a 20LET in. Its not just a case of fitting a custom manifold with turbo ancillaries. You have to fit low comp pistons, lower the compression succesfully, uprate all internals like con rod bolts and strengthen the bottom end. Then you gotta think about inter-cooling it.
