shop i go to for import games
had black for 130 wi one game
silver for 170 with 3games (shit ones)

silver one chipped for 240

alredy got a jap ps2 but its an early model which r hard to chip
dyin to get final fantasy x-2
american one is out n want it now! cant wait for jap international version out in feb

it says dvd R+/- compatible
asked the guy if can play pirates but he sed was jus copied audio stuff ??? so can play pirates?

nah you still need em chipped to play copied games. Only plays copied dvd films

Got a silver ps2 last week and it isn't chipped but does play copied games

Early PS2's are far easy to chip than anything shipped after 2000.......

oh well the internal workings of a PS2 are far easyier than the internal workings of my X-BOX

Currently in the process of modding it, got my 160 gig HD to go in it and got my complied copy of the new OS software & X-Box media player

the first 2 models that came out r hard to chip
all the modchips out work on the others but not these
mines a 15000 model
when did ps2 come out in japan ? forgot but i got it the yr it came out there bought it in hongkong

what kinda copied games? ps1 or 2?

my shit machine can only play copied ps+ps2 japanese games
