Decided to keep my system all alpine now.

Which components are the best from alpine?? Want 6.5" ones if the'd fit?? And an amp to run em??

Any suggestions??

i have SXS-1757's which are good and fit in the doors!
other choice is the typr-R's which are better but need a custom pod made. I will be selling me sxs-1757's soon £25 + del, let me know if interested

Can you not just get a new speaker holder to make em fit??

no, the adaptor ring doesnt pull them out far enough. U hve to make a custom build or pod to enable them to fit without hitting the window.

Or just put some spacers in there with one of the pre made adaptors

nope they will then hit the plastic outer card when u try to fit it back on as far as i know,meaning it has to be cut and thus u are making yourself a build!

Best to get focal polyglass fronts m8, they fit and sound sooo much better than the alpines.
