most of my DVDs are copies now and for some reason they always skip/freeze on my expensive DVD player, so i was advised that the cheap budget players are the best to get. they also have mp3, region 2 and all and for just 40quid i picked one up for today and it works a beaut

u can also see that i am liking my new digicam
it doesnt price up tho, how can a 40quid player be better than a 200quid player

i dont have problems with my cambridge audio one, although it did cost 400 odd quid about 8 months ago, but it works a treat and plays everything and its multi-region too
I can also recommend Arcam DVD players too...although look at spending about 1000 quid for one, but the picture is second to none and it looks good on my mates 50" pioneer plasma screen

yea but its all down to manufactors and the transport they use (basically the laser). Thats why if your gonna spend a few 100's on a dvd player, cd player, amp etc etc then get reviews on the stuff, thats what i did and for the money at the time it was the best thing out.
However, i have seen some cheap dvd players and yea there alright...but there in a different league to the big boys - arcam, denon, cyrus, onkyo etc And at 30 quid, compared to 500 or 2000 quid, you cant grumble, but it all depends what ya want from it at the end of the day
