I'm after a cheap slim-line DVD Player (no more than 1.5 inches tall), cos am gettin tired now of connecting my laptop to the TV & watching it like that
Must be able to play VCD, SVCD, DVD-R(R/W)
MP3 would be a bonus, aswell as being able to play MPG files straight from a cd (noticed some they were selling in asda a few weeks abo for 40 notes would do this)

i bought one of those sony picot ones which are like round (not slimline) but they are good, got mine for £160 last christmas but they are cheaper now

Matsui one from Currys, Multi-Region, will play most DVD's you wanna put in... is slim. and narrow too

ye mate, go for the 40quidders. i have both, a 200 pound and a 40 pound one, they both play mp3, multiregion but the cheap one reads the discs better and doesnt skip whereas my othe rone does with copies.
