when i started my course at 16 i was on 35quid a week! then it went up to 80 then had a rise every 6 months for the duration of the apprenticeship, in the end i was on 220quid a week takin home around 190 which aint bad, but now i am 22 and easily earn 20k+ per year

apprenticeships are the way forward definitely, if u can put up with the shite wages n always carryin the toolbox! my firm put me thru my plumbing nvq (c+g) in 6 months rather than 2 years by doin 6week blocks at college rather than day release. had 2 do 18months on the tools first b4 theyd let us go to college tho. good luck mate
