can u replace the springs/shocks on a coilover set or wud ya have to buy a new set when their fcuked:cheers

would prob work out cheaper to send them back to the makers and have them fixed and refurb

i haven't got a set yet, just wanted to know if you can replace springs or shocks as i dont want to have to pay for coilovers every few years

as they are a complete unit i cant see one goin without the other surely

and the price u pay if they did go id be inclined to return them for replacement

coilovers should last at least 4 or 5 years in good conditions...

you can buy differnt rate springs for about £40 a pair.

As for new shocks I know avo do a complete refurb @ £35 a corner

i had avo coilovers. only lasted a year in northern irelands shitty roads. u cant buy shocks for them in nova/corsa fitment. hasa to be the full strut

spoke to Avo today, a service costs from £15 per unit, and if the rods need doing then itll cost £40 per unit not bad really
