I got a Corsa B Sport 1.4 16V. I've just got some 16" speedlines to fit and need to lower it. Thing is a new lowering kit(springs and shocks) is going to be £300+. Ina year I'm looking a dropping in a 2.0 16V so the springs and shocks will probably have to be changed to suit this.

I was thinking of just buying some springs at the moment, say -30mm or -45mm. What will the handling be like on standard sport shocks. Will this be okay to run?

Cheers,
Alex.

30mm will be ok for 6 months i think before the shocks go
but it depends on the condition of your shocks

It'll be fine to run as standard shocks are quite good. Id go for a 40mm drop as that'll be fine handling and looking with 16's on.

Why do you want a 2.0?

I want a 2.0 16V because:

1. I want more power and speed.
2. Wanna piss all over merc drivers, bmw drivers, general arseholes who don't like Corsas.
3. I like my car, so why change it? Just need more speed.
4. I love the colour too, Smoke grey!

The list can go on...!

Yes, but you dont need a 2.0 16v to do all this. I can do everything on that list and I have a 1400 8v.
