Old traditional house - plenty of space for extending/fixer upper

This is what im looking for

Only buy a new build if the land around is going to be developed and you can make money off it

Depends on whether you're planning on keeping the property.

If both are new or recently refurbished then both will have good market value...

Saying that, if they're both in Rotherham....

if u go down sunnyisde back lanes theres some persimmon homes being built up st johns avenue, well its on there, i know all the persimmon workers and management as ive sub contracted to them in the past

Persimmon are a good housebuilder, they do some nice 3 story properties.
They only do woodframe builds and no traditional. Think only Barret and walker still do.

Id prefer to buy an older house I can put money into tho

if youre gonna stay put for a long time and think about settling down, family etc then go for the house.
if you wanna live as a batchelor forever then go with the apartment
