I really want rear bucket seats in the back of me corsa (b). I know I'll need custon sub frames and quite narrow seats like Cobra Clubmans. But do the subframes need to be welded in or would it be better to bolt them to the floor on account of the fuel tank being in the way??! Any ideas on who can do this for me would be much apreciated!!!

i think they are bolted in, but i dont remember where i read it. "Kenni" on here has had this done, so it might be worth asking him.

I u2u'd him about this little while ago, this is what i got -

"THe main cost is the labour thats involoved. You need quite short buckets. I choose Carrara Clubmans.

A rectangle frame is made to to the size of the rear bench. This is SCREAWED down. The petrol tank much the lowered or removered for this and blank plates placed on the out side of the bolt for strenght reasons. No sound minded person will weld near a petrol tank, unless its completely removered!
Then vertical bars are welded onto the rectangle frame and the buckets goes on to. Simple

The gap in the middle towards the rear is placed by a chrome amp and a neon
