I've just been on www.dvla-som.co.uk and they have got M14 ASE for sale at 250 notes. Do u think it looks like my nickname (mase) ??? thats the closest match i can find. If i do go for it i'll have the spacing changed so it'll be M14ASE. Wot do u think ????

i saw this on some shit like driven or something with quentin wilson. they advertise loads of reg's to get business and interest even if they dont have them. once they get an offer they bid for it from dvla, if the bid gets too much to make a desent profit from you they just say it is no longer availiable.

your best of going thru dvla directly

the thing with other reg companies is that they may say they have a certain plate, when they don't even own it. they try and buy the plate from say the dvla, and sell it to you at a profit. the best place to get plates is from the dvla direct. then there is no messing around

Use DVLA. if u go 2 sumwhere like regtransfers, they charge u the 80 transfer fee and an admin fee. Its all thrown in when got fm DVLA. I bought L2KHE for the g/f took 3 days 4 paperwork 2 arrive and went to nearest DVLA office that day and had reg on car by that evening!

How much can you 'manipulate' the lettering of a plate, ive found the perfect plate, for a good price but i needs a number slightly rounding, and a bolt putting in a sertain place, will i get pulled all the time?

New reg etc have to buy their reg numbers from the DVLA in the first place, Some of their registrations arent actually theirs even tho they are on their website, you say you want it and they then buy it for you from the DVLA and add their charge plus the transfer fee etc.
