hello
i got a parking ticket for my car (reg and manufacture) but it couldn't possibly of been my car, because i was 25 miles away at work with my car parked in the office car park...
all i got was the £80 fine through the post, saying i hadn't paid it when it was £40.
waht the hells going on ere?
n e one else had this problem

ticket was for 12/12/03 (friday) i can get a letter from work ( i hope! )
only found out about it today

i am a bit worried that someone might be driving around with my plates on, because the tickets from an area i never ever goto
well i might drive through it occasinally, but i never stop there

this is why you should encourage work to secure the carpark and you need to swipe your ID card through - you can prove where you were parked at any gien time then.
i got off a speeding charge of 130 in a 50 because I could provide evidence I was logged on my PC at work and on my phone taking calls at the time of the offence and CCTV that morning showed me entering the car-park and the afternoon leaving in the same vehicle, so it couldn't have been me.
didn't half nearly poo myself when the summons came through the post.

i've just found out it was acutally me! i did have the day off, and it was to get a costume from a costume shop in the area of my ticket - dunno how i forgot that!
but they still never put a ticket on my car, so how can i be expected to pay the £80, ill pay it n eway i think
i thought if the tit didn't put the ticket on the car then you don't get prosecuted?
but i can't prove it wasn't on my car, i think it will just be a case of my word against the wardens, thats why ill just pay up
n e other ideas?

was you parked on double yellaz? if you was then go to the area and check the lines, because if they are broken and dont connect they cant do ya..

sum1 mite of nicked the ticket from under ur wiper or whereva it was so u wudnt think uve got one n then ude hav 2 pay more. i know sum1 thats dun it b4!
