would it be possible to make sum clear dials out of clear acetate.....and just draw the numbas on with a pen or summit ???

They have been done and also copyrighted so you can't make a set.

the light wouldn't diffuse properly you'd end up with bulbs shingin g in your eyes when driving at night

you can make whatever yuu want to. makes no difference if they are copyrighted or not.
they do light up, they can be made by photocopying the regular dails (white works best) onto assertate or simular

Lee Mitchell done it about 2 years ago now.
Martin has also done his.
He could sue if you were to sell the dials.
It can be done though if you know what your doing.

im sure it only applies to the EXACT dials, as even a change in font will exclude them from being copyrighted
if i made mine and wrote CORSA on the too, it be able to sell them as they are different, just like if i made green ones etc
had mine a while too

depends on the copyrite taken out mate, i think.
if me has copyrited the idea and fucnction then no you cant sell them in any form, but if the design is copyrited then you could sell them in a slightly different form.
and as for above, fucking hell mate just stating just incase. fook sake
