This attitude of the "scouse" people and the Liverpool area is totally stereotypical. I live about 5 miles from Liverpool city centre and live in a £600,000 house...as with all major cities Liverpool has its good and bad areas. I can think of only 3 areas on Liverpool I would name bad, this is not a lot considering the size of the city. This same situtation can be seen in the likes of Manchester they too have nice areas and bad areas such as Moss Side.
