I did look into this a long time ago, but was advised that the gearbox would be an absolute nightmare to sort (apparently they're in different places, or at different angle, or something)...

Doubt it,they are pretty big. If you took it in bits you might fit some of it in the boot, fold the back seats down and you should be able to get some of the panels in, probably gonna need a roof rack for the rest though.

how about putting the corsa body on the vx220? a bit of filler here and there should do the trick for parts that arent made to measure

cant u use a turbo's gearbox.

engine fittin shouldt be a prob as there smaller than the v6 which has been done

Vx220 uses same engine as zafira doesnt it? the zafira engine uses the same mounts as an astra....the engine will fit in a new corsa..... a corsa C

fuk what everyone says... turbo rules like hell... and just used 4 gear... its beutifull... the mechanic says that my corsa is faster that a Gr.:N Evo!!! ...and it is!!!!
