i just invested in some rockford fosgate 6x9's (good set). the sound quality is exellent, however, ther is near on no bass can anyone tell me what might be the problem. have i wired them up wrong or are fosgate 6x9's just not good for bass

they amped via the headunit? tried messing with the EQ on there?
U aint gonna get decent bass outta those without an external amp

ive got about £150 to spend on an amp. any recommendations? so you think the 6x9's have got some potential then. guy at alpha car audio said that these were some really good speakers

i used to have top of the range rockford fosgate 6 x 9's they sounded good for a set of 6x9's and i never amped them!! Amp them up and they will sound very good and bassy for 6x9's.

no its always said but ya never gonna get any real bass outta 6x9's.
Unless u really need ya boot why not get a cheap sub n amp package, £150 for a starter set up.
