got started on my door pods today,been abit more time consuming then i thought! have nearly done the drivers side one though, im going to be spraying them silver with the inner pocket bit black. heres a few pics

i fucking hate working with fibre glass
be carefull round the centre cone i read on here someone knocked it and it poped off

Looking good mate, i had a bash at fibreglassing the other day and it is ghey
Did the bodyfiller go onto the fibreglass alright as in stick to it well, and what did you use
Any help appreciated

same sorta subject im off sick
but i managed to make £15 from my beemer that i got for £0 sold the fan coupling then the guy left the spanner in his engine bay and started it up it fell and snapped the p/s belt so he now has no p/s

i used david's fibreglass and smooth 7 filler.it will stick together well if the fibreglass is scored with a knife of if its quite rough.

The only method for that is high build plastic primer and LOTS of sanding and repeating same as how people do their interiors colour coded

Personally I wouldnt want to pay a bodyshop £40+ an hour labour for flatting off the texture of the door bins. Its easy enough if you have the patience and time...
