He got a 2.0 fronters sport with the C20NE engine.
Basically the engine keeps cutting out, last week we went for a drive and engine seemed like it was struggling, gave it a quick service (oil, plugs, air filter, cleaned dizzyy cap) butt it now cuts out soon after starting, maybe it idles for bout 3-4 mins then cuts out, what are my first things i should look at (sensors and stuff)
Please help as its pissing me off now, i have better things to be doin with my time.

The idle control valve is the sensor which keeps the engine running at idle at certain revs. Usually if its faulty or broken the engine just ticks over at like 2,000 - 3,000 RPM, so it doesn't sound like that.
I've known this problem to happen before because of a temp sensor.
TBH mate, there's no point in fixing it yourself if you don't know what the problem is, theres over 50 sensors, and you change all of them.
Do a search for the "paperclip test" this is where you stick a paperclip in a certain place in the fuse box and the engine management light flashes the amount of times according to the fault which has occured.
