For the past week my car has been a pain in the ass to start after sitting all night / day. It just REALLY struggles to start. The starter motor must be fine etc and I have to pump the throttle to get it started. Other times it just starts normally. I recently changed the spark plugs and oil.

I am thinking that the battery might be fecked as it has discharged 2 times since I have had the car and it could be on the way out i.e does not hold the charge.

It drives sound when it's running and idles perfect. It's a Corsa B SRi 16v.

Try turning the key so that the electrics come on, leave it for a few seconds then turn it so it starts.

This lets the automatic choke kick in better.

its worth a try and not an expensive thing to do!!

As for the battery discharge i have no idea about that, do u leave anything on when u leave the car like stereo or neons etc? There could be a trickle discharge.
