im trying to find a picture of what i mean, i think its called checkerboard but thats not right as its metal, anyway! does any1 know where i can get it from?? cheers

five bar, never heard of it?

i bought a sheet of alu and got it cut and bent to shape, cost 10 quid total for 2 front and 2 rear mats

thats the name of it.... altho some outlets will call it aluminium chequer plate.

Five-bar is the name used by fire engine manufacturers, as they use the same stuff.
