Just joined the Forum..thought id say hello..
just sold my 207bhp Ibiza Cupra, partly due to awful mpg, high running costs, and me probably killing myself within 6 months in it..its too bloody quick.. would recommend one though, good cars for the money.

Bought a 1.6sport V reg. Needs more power though..how much would 150bhp cost? 2 grand??
changed the gear knob today..spent an hour twisting and pulling it (and the gearknob too)..stabbed myself with a screwdriver and the neighbour had a winge about my language too... The side repeater would not go back in due to that cannister thingy, then i washed it and it pissed it down. Great introduction to Corsa ownership!!

bloody nightmare..the little things take ages on cars, a good hour of my life gone that i can never get back.
at least i remembered to buy a "reverse collar" gear knob..otherwise that would have capped the day off nicely..

to get 150bhp, ur best of going down the Throttal Bodies route, SBD do a 164 kit (u really get about 150-155bhp) for alittle over 2k

thats the best way to go about it + they sound ace!

i was thinking Mantzel box, de-cat, full system, filter and cold feed, courtney larger throttle body, and chip..although that would prob only yield 130bhp..correct me if im wrong.
maybe cams/head.
how did that guy from REVS mag get 163bhp? is it Turbo'd?

i bet a tuned Corsa returns about the same mpg as my Ibiza did..(22-24mpg). ( and as low as 14mpg when racing with the Revo ).

Yer about 130, but ur limiting ur options for further power, superchips are crap, with the SBD Throttal Bodies you get decent DTM engine management which can be re-maped as often as u like

Not really, on Throttal Bodies u get practicaly the same mpg, until u start booting it

dunno about the revs thing, dont read it
