ever since i've had my spax set up on my rear suspension has been making a rattling noise, sounds like the springs bouncing about
the rear tyres were cut up quite bad on the inside (both of them)
would this be pointing to the bushes either worn or none existent
a garage put them on so might have to have a look at the weekend, thought it was normal when a stiffer suspension setup is put on, but now not so sure!!

id check the rubber exhaust mounts, stiffer suspension means the exhaust gets more of a hammering
also, for the inner tyres to be wrecked suggests it rubbing against something - and that i would get checked out pretty pronto!

the tyres were a while back put the standard wheels back on and waiting for them to wear before i put the alloys back on.
defo not the exhaust that was rattling as well and i've corected this.
What do you mean by the running Gambit? The wheels are rubbing against the suspension arm or something?

are the standard rear tyres wearing on the inner edges? or the inner tyre wall?
is it even wear, or does it look like something has been cutting into it

the wear was even on the alloys, havnt really looked closely at my normal tyres will look after work. theyre wearing on the inner edges so the tyres arent parallel to the ground.

might have to change them as wanna set my car up ready for 150bhp.. if the spax isnt suitable i'll change the dampers and get some uprated bushes too.
just wondering if people thought it was the bushes that were causing it to make a noise and cause the tyre wear or should i be worried its the beam.
if its the beam it'll be weird that the tyre wear is the same on both sides

could be the valves in the shocks. one of my apex ones makes a squeeking noise, its nothing to worry about though.

this aint a squeaking noise...
took the wheel off and had a look...
erm where the spring meets the beam should there be a flange or bush?? cos think thats whats rattling.
i could twist the spring from side to side? duno if thats normal?
but at the top of the rear spring theres like a rubber flange where it meets the chais, however the lower part of the spring just hits bare metal? dont seem right to me
also put a metal bar a long the face of the brake drum and the cambers definately out fook knows why

grrrrrrrrrrrrr its so quiet tonight!
whys my rear looking like this:
as you look at it the rear dampers are angled so that the bottom part is sticking out, is this normal??
also might be stupid but does it matter which damper goes on which side i.e is here a right and a left side?
gotta be somit to do with the dampers or springs because the wear is the same on both sides...
