jus wondering which of the wires are + and - the blue one, or the blue/brown (i think, colour blindness :lol in the corsa b...

just did this the other day, im pretty sure it was the brown stripe = negative.

yea, blue is +, blue/brown is -
However mate, it doesnt really matter (since its AC power), as long as both speakers are wired the same, otherwise your going to get a "phazing" effect which sounds fooked

thouhgt i was rite,i used a multimeter to trace the wires through into door, but cudnt remember which way round.
As u say desnt matter tho, but i wanted it rite!

yea i tried to multimeter the wires, although when connected to the HU you will find they will buzz out when connected together think its due to a transformer or something in the HU for AC signal Eitherway, i had to disconnect the multiblock (near HU) before i could buzz them out

Easiest wa to check would be with a PP3 battery .. connect the speaker up then touch the cables onto the battery. If it pops out thats the correct way around.

Also as a handy tip i'd strongley recommend to run the passenger speaker out of phase (reverse the polarity) - You pring the image much closer to the driver.
