How exactly do you get to the gearbox speed sensor thingy looking at the pic below....

Ive had the battery out and the header tank but just cnt get to the damn thing

try taking the battery plate out then you should be able to get to it, just lube ya hands up and prepare for some sore knuckles! lol

use a long ratchet with a star fitting on the end..you can get to it quite easy as i had to replace mine the other week..im not mechanically minded at all either..i also removed batterey and plate..didn't need to remove the header tank though

ive jus done minr. take the passenger sde wheel off, there is a whole u can get ur hand thru and reach to it. bit of a bugger but doable!
