on my ax gt they had to take rear axle/torsion bar out to do it as was all seized up...

That's gonna be seized to fook.
Expect oxyacetalene and probably drop the axle.
And to answer, you have 2 torsion bars, you jack the car up on the chassis, remove both wheels, put jacks/axle stands under the trailing-arms, remove the torsion bars, raise the trailing arms by the amount you want to lower the car, re-insert the torsions.
