i bet it comes back again.

make sure you patch up your windows with the online update tool. so it don't happen again

go to microsoft.com and download the patch, dont try and do it through windows update

Also, if/when you get the "RPC Shutdown" message again, do the following to cancel it:

Start -> Run -> shutdown -a
