city & guilds advanced diploma for it users
Level 3

CITY & GUILDS ADVANCED DIPLOMA for IT Users
Ad. Dip. C&G 7262 – (041 + 141 Core plus 309/311)

Duration
Normally 2 evenings per week (plus an optional half day workshop) over a one year period.

Who is the course suitable for?
The course is ideal for mature students who require a Level 3 IT qualification in one year, and those wishing to progress to HNC level.

Programme Content:
Candidates will experience an excellent grounding in the use of IT. Studying the concept of how a computer works and uses of computing relevant to industry needs within the IT Principles units. Web site design and Relational Databases are also studied in units 309 and 311, which will provide a suitable grounding for the areas encountered within HNC Computing.

What qualifications or experience do I need to be accepted on the course?
You should be comfortable with and have experience of working in a Windows environment and the use of word processor software. For the Advanced Diploma course you should have completed a Level 2 course, such as Intermediate ICT, City & Guilds Diploma for IT Users or equivalent, or have equivalent working experience at Level 2.

Are there any assessments on this course?
You will be assessed throughout the course through practical assignments and multiple-choice questions.

On completion of the course where do most students move on to?
On completion of the course students may wish to progress on to the HNC in Computing or to gain employment.

coz when your over 19 you have to pay for college courses unless your out of work, and some of them can be as much as a grand

1k over a year is £80 a month not too bad, depends what sallery band it's gonna move you into when you finish?

I want to do this so i can get a new job. So ill be funding myself.
