Got my car booked into Arnold Clarks Vauxhall on Thursday but I fear they'll hit me with " your gonna need a new full gearbox".
I cant select 1st, 2nd or 5th gear (well I can 5th 1 in 20 odd attempts)! Any idea what the problem is? Selector box? Linkages? And an idea of cost if anyone else has had this repaired?! Cheers!

my 1st and 2nd gear are a bit "crunchy" but still drivable, it sounds like linkage to me tho mate.

Cheers, I take it that the linkages can be changed easy enuff. Vauxhall plebs will prob try to still charge me 100's!
