I'm looking to buy a new SRi and just wondered what "Indirect night lighting" was... Does anyone know?

i think its to do with lighting, with out directing the bult/ light straight at the object. Thats what it is when you buy work lamps ect

I was thinking (or hoping) it was like in the BMW's... on the inside you get like a red glow in the dark that glows on the interior very dimly but allows you to see things... if that makes any sense!!

indirect night lighting gives a glow to the dashboard, the lights are housed up by the rear view mirror. The range Rover has this also.

its a little orange led on interior light that glows when dark. illuminates loads and looks smart

I wondered what that light was for, lol. There's one on our Zafira GSi on the autodimmer rear view mirror.

iv'e got 2 of the led beamers beheind my rear view mirror, shining down onto the dash kinda gives it a blue glow... cant believe they charge that as optional xtras

i did it with beamers in my clio.

any tips on installing these in the corsa, or fitting the proper kit??

Anybody know what parts are required to fit this, if it is possible? I notice on the back of the interior light housing, there's a small opening by the windscreen, about the right size for a couple of LEDs to shine out of - is this where the interior night lighting LEDs go?
