i have a 1.2 8v with no rev counter can i fit a new set of clocks with rev counter straight in or do i have to wait till i have my 1.4 sport put in with the loom and everything

easyest way to check this is to open your engine compartment.
look at the plug coming from the coil.
if it has a green wire coming from it your good to go.
i have a 1.2 8V merit model and i had the green wire and i installed a set of clocks with rev counter and they worked no probs.

my 1.2 didnt have it, but i installed 1 lol!
all u do is goto the ecu, test the 4 green wires for about a 5v current at idle then run it to bhinde the dash and put it into that block the dahs pl,ugs into, 30mins job mate
