Nope, cos I'm a student and repayment protection don't usually cover you if you're a student I think?
Besides, it worked out at an extra £10-15/month on top of my loan repayments, I'd rather just worry about finding the money and paying my loan off quicker....

matt who did you do the loan with, anf bluecorsa it would still cover you for things like life cover and permenant disability. just wouldnt cover you against unemployment

YEah had to take some, the buggers really loaded the repayments with every single protection they do, they didnt even give me the option i had to argue with them and get some of the protections taken off. Think it gets paid if i die or cant work cos i get sick, if i loose my job it doesnt get paid. I`d weigh up your financial situation, i mean would your parents/partner be able to help you out if you could make repayments?

I work for the bank i got the loan off so i didn't, if they sack me they can GTF if the think they will get that money back

In the grand scheme of things, I estimate that I will be debt free (2 x loans, 2 x credit cards, and miscellaneous debt) by November 2006, assuming I get a job between now and end of April, and pay about £600 a month towards my debts!
