i think ive decided what paint to go for but want some opinions first.

think of having the paint like this focus -> focus pic

but having it black and red instead as my interior in all black and red inc seats.

here are two photoshops and thats to Craig-CorsaGSi for helping me out. it will be more faded into each other..just that i couldnt do it on photoshop lol

swap the colour round so the front is black and it will look nice

It's not bad. Think it would look better with the red at the rear end and black on the front.

do a selection of the car with the polygonal lasso tool... edit copy edit paste so it creates a new layer of just your car..

with the car layer selected do.. Image > Adjustments > Variations...

then add in as much red as you want (or any other colour) press ok...

then it's just a matter of cutting the coloured layered bits out that you wanna keep (i.e. the original half of the car & the windows, lights etc)

hope that helps, might sound a bit confusing

once you've got the layer of the car in red..... just use the eraser tool with a low opacity on that layer, so that you can blend it to the layer beheind (the original black one) by hand.... have a bash with diff sizes and opacity on the eraser tool

im at my girlfriends nd she hasnt got photoshop....so ill have a go when im hom but it seems pretty easy......yeah right lol

ill let u know and show u what i cam up with lol.....dont expect art work though lol
